Yuki Fujiwara

Born in Shizuoka in 1978. Majored in oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts. Based on the exquisite depictions created by her outstanding technical skills, she creates works in the Surrealist style attributed to Salvador Dali. She depicts scenes in which beautiful flowers and lovely animals seem to leap out of other dimensions into the real world as if the hidden energy of living things is expressed in her works. The animals' detailed gestures and expressions, colored in pastel tones, are adorable, and create a mysterious supernatural space with a sense of calm yet dynamism.
