We are delighted to announce the opening of our new gallery in Kyoto, Japan. Considering the current social difficulties, we will not be organising the opening ceremony; however, the gallery will be open from the 23rd of March onwards. Fifty years ago, on the exact day, our gallery in Paris opened. In order to celebrate our little milestone and history, we have decided to open our gallery in Kyoto on 23rd, and cherry blossom will be blooming at Kamogawa Riverside as well. The new gallery is located in Shichijo next to the Kamogawa river, and it is near the National Museum of Kyoto and sanjusangen-do temple. Kyoto has been the cultural hub of Japan and has its unique history; we have renovated the hundred twenty-year-old machiya (townhouse) with a slight touch of contemporary to play with the space accommodating for the artworks.
